Water heater FAQ

Questions before you call

Does a leak mean I need a new water heater?

Not necessarily. Water may come from a valve or connection, or from the unit itself. The source and condition of the heater need to be assessed before recommending repair or replacement.

Can I switch from a tank water heater to tankless?

That depends on your home’s hot-water demand and existing installation. Tankless sizing considers how much hot water is needed at one time. The proposed unit may also require changes to connections or venting. We’ll tell you what would need to change before you decide.

Should I repair or replace my water heater?

The cause of the problem, overall condition, repair history and household demand all matter. We assess the heater and discuss the available options. We’ll tell you which one makes more sense for your setup and why.

What affects the cost of water heater installation?

The type and size of the heater, how easy it is to reach and any changes to the hookups all affect the price. When we replace a heater, we haul the old one away. Larger jobs start with a visit so we can see the setup and prepare a quote.

How often does a tankless water heater need maintenance?

The schedule depends on the model and its manufacturer’s instructions. We provide tankless flushing and descaling; tell us the model and when it was last serviced, if known.

Will tankless give me instant hot water at every tap?

Not automatically. A tankless heater heats water on demand, but hot water still has to travel through the pipes to the shower or faucet. The distance and plumbing setup affect the wait. Discuss both hot-water capacity and delivery time when comparing options.

When can I call, and what should I have ready?

Call 501-547-0518 during 6AM–6PM daily. Share your town, the issue, and the type, brand or model of water heater if you know it. We’ll tell you when we can get there.
